After many years of experimenting with a variety of artistic mediums, I discovered a way to combine my love of architecture and drawing into my artwork. I combine painted canvas with multi layers of thread work that gives each piece texture and the illusion of dimension.

My most recent subject matter has been barns; a landmark of our rural American landscape – fast on their way to disappearing. This is my way of preserving a piece of our past.

Perhaps my simple subjects can evoke a viewer to remember an object or a place in time.
